Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan recently joined Matt Pinfield for an episode of New & Approved.
McKagan recently released his solo album “Lighthouse” so he tells Matt all about the record’s creation. He also describes in detail the single “Longfeather,” which Matt has especially been drawn to. We get to learn about McKagan’s admiration for the late Mark Lanegan of Queens of the Stone Age and Screaming Trees. Jerry Cantrell is another legend McKagan has worked with and has many stories about.
McKagan also discusses his love of history, lessons he has learned from punk rock, and what his future touring plans might look like.
