Big news for Megadeth fans! After a long while, Megadeth has announced their 16th studio album The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! and have also released a music video for the record’s closing track We’ll Be Back.

The record has been in the works for several years, but was delayed because of Dave Mustaine’s health issues as Mustaine was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019. Bassist David Ellefson was also fired from the band and was replaced by James Lomenzo, now a permanent member of the band.

The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead! marks a significant point in Megadeth’s history especially as a celebration of Mustaine’s defeat over cancer. The long-awaited album is set to be released on September 2nd this year.
