Note to self: don’t mess with Queen guitarist Brian May! May recently slapped a phone belonging to a cameraman after becoming visibly aggravated.
The altercation occurred between the musician and an Australian news cameraman outside Brisbane Airport, where the rocker was meeting with fans after arriving on a private jet. Despite May’s repeated requests for the camera to be put down, the cameraman continued to film him.
May can be seen telling the Channel 7 crew, “Yeah, you’ve got to stop that, because I ain’t doing this.” When the cameraman refused to stop, May warned him again, saying, “Excuse me, I said no. All right, is this going to get ugly? Because you put it down now or else something ugly happens. Do you understand? You stop now. I’m serious, I’m deadly serious.”
May addressed the situation on his Instagram after the video made its way onto the Internet.
