This Fall, The Rolling Stones will be releasing their 24th studio album Hackney Diamonds.
Over their 60-year career, the Stones have made quite an impressive list of musician friends. Some of these pals joined up with the band for their upcoming record.
During an interview with The New York Times, The Rolling Stones revealed Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Lady Gaga all made contributions to Hackney Diamonds. Stevie Wonder provides keys and Lady Gaga provides vocals to the track Sweet Sounds of Heaven, Paul McCartney plays bass on Bite My Head Off, and Elton John added some piano to Live by the Sword. Bill Wyman, original bassist of The Rolling Stones, also plays bass on Live by the Sword.
You’ll get to hear each of these cameos when Hackney Diamonds is released on October 20th.
