This week Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were immortalized in Dartford, England, the town they both grew up in.
Two bronze statues that depict The Rolling Stones singer and guitarist are now a part of Jagger and Richards’ hometown. The statues created by sculptor Amy Goodman are named “The Glimmer Twins” after the duos’ famous nickname.
The Stones’ figures were unveiled during a ceremony August 9th where Richards’ daughter and granddaughter were both in attendance.
Dartford has honored their hometown heroes with many other tributes throughout the city including street names like Ruby Tuesday Drive and Angie Mews.
