Since we sadly lost ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill last year, the future of the Texas rockers was uncertain. However, the band’s former tech Elwood Francis stepped in and is filling Dusty’s legendary shoes incredibly well.
Francis took things to another level last weekend when he busted out a massive 18-string bass guitar at ZZ Top’s concert in Huntsville, Alabama on November 5th. He used the gargantuan instrument to perform the grooves of the ZZ Top track Under Pressure.
The sight is nothing that anyone can describe in words. But you can watch the badassery in action right here from the ZZ Top show:
