It was exactly 100 years ago today that the legendary Los Angeles venue the Hollywood Bowl opened its doors for the first time.
Since that day on July 11th, 1922, the Bowl has been a necessary stop for all of the greatest bands touring throughout the states. With the famous Hollywood letters in the distance behind the stage and the hilly mountaintop background, the Hollywood Bowl makes for the perfect summer destination.
Although its experienced several changes for the last ten decades, the Bowl is still the LA staple that it has always been. In 2018, Rolling Stone magazined named it one of the ten best live music venues in America and for good reason.
