Throughout the 1970s, there lived a band that truly knew how to rock. The band was called Mountain and would go on to be most known for their biggest hit Mississippi Queen, although their albums were full of plenty of other hard rockers that really captured the tone of rock ‘n’ roll.
Led by vocalist and guitarist Leslie West, Mountain formed in 1969 and is often credited for influencing the the development of heavy metal music which would be flourishing throughout the next decade. Unfortunately, we lost the mult-talented West exactly 1 year ago from a fatal heart attack. His legacy will always live on through his impactful life and music.
