To celebrate The Festival of Lights, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl has spent the past week covering songs by Jewish artists. Van Halen, Billy Joel, and Barry Manilow were some of the classic artists that Grohl and his friend Greg Kurstin have given some fun performances for. To close out the series, Grohl featured a song from one his most admired bands as a child…KISS!
The video posted on Foo Fighters’ Youtube channel featured the following statement to pump up viewers, ““Ladies and gentlemen….we made it. Night 8! And what better way to celebrate another year of Hanukkah Sessions than Chaim Witz and Stanley Eisen….two young lads from Queens that set the world (and thousands of stages) on FIRE Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley of KISS!!!”
