English rock band Faces have reportedly been recording new music together for the first time in 40 years. During an interview with The Times, guitarist Ronnie Wood announced he and his former Faces bandmates Rod Stewart and Kenney Jones had been getting together to make some music. We are all anxious to hear what the renowned group is cooking up.

Faces evolved from Small Faces in 1969 and remained together until 1975 when Rod Stewart went his separate way and Ronnie Wood joined The Rolling Stones. Releasing four albums during their short years, Faces left a legacy that continues to inspire bands today with their raw, back-to-basics, authentic rock sound. The band’s keyboardist Ian McLagan passed away in 2014 of a stroke and bassist Ronnie Lane passed in 1997.
