A Guns N’ Roses superfan came under fire for leaking the band’s unreleased music online.

The root of the problem started when former record label A&R Tom Autaut auctioned off his storage unit, which included recorded GNR music from 2000 and 2001. A superfan by the name of Rick Dunsford was the lucky purchaser, who paid $15,000.

When the band’s management found out about the transaction, they bought the recordings back from Dunsford. However, unreleased GNR music began leaking online regardless. Universal Music Group is now planning legal action against Dunsford, according to TMZ.
