The Strokes announced a new album in 2020 at their headlining New Year’s Eve performance.

Singer Julian Casablancas delighted fans at their gig in Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with the announcement and the performance of a brand new song. This will be the band’s first album since 2013 when they released Comedown Machine.

The Strokes kept a low-profile throughout the last decade, playing a little over 30 shows since 2012.
