After James Hetfield announced his return to rehab, multiple rock artists offered their support via social media.
Metallica was forced to cancel their Australia and New Zealand tour after Hetfield announced he was undergoing treatment for addiction issues.
Artists such as former Metallica bassist, Ron McGovney, as well as former Guns N’ Roses drummer, Matt Sorum, tweeted to Hetfield.
James Hetfield has been a friend of mine long before @Metallica. I always looked up to him as a musician even when we were in high school. If he needs anything , he has my number. I have been sober for 2 years. It’s not easy. I’m with you big guy. pic.twitter.com/W4zmup8iTH
