First Photo of Johnny Flynn as David Bowie in Biopic Released

The first photo of actor Johnny Flynn as David Bowie for the upcoming biopic Stardust has been uploaded online.

Paul Van Carter, one of the producers of the film, posted a photo onto Instagram showing Flynn in character with the caption, “Exclusive first look at Johnny Flynn as the young David Bowie in our forthcoming movie Stardust, directed by Gabriel Range, with Marc Maron and Jena Malone.” The movie is still in production.

The film will follow the story of Bowie’s 1971 tour in the U.S. that ultimately saw the birth of his Ziggy Stardust character. No other new information has been revealed about the movie besides the main cast, which includes In Jena Malone as Bowie’s first wife, Angie, and Marc Maron as his publicist.
