Tony Scott
Tony Scott comes to 95.5 KLOS with an extensive background in radio & voiceover.
Tony started his broadcasting career at Armed Forces Radio Taiwan while attending high school on the island. His father worked for the Voice of America and when the family was not stationed in Washington, DC, they were living overseas in such exotic locations as Taiwan, Hong Kong and Kenya.
Upon graduation, Tony returned to the United States and was soon working at major market stations all over the country, including Washington, DC, Philadelphia and Denver.
In 1986 while working in Denver, he auditioned for NBC when the network stopped in Colorado while on a nationwide hunt for new talent. He was one of thousands across the country who read for parts. The audition resulted in a role on the daytime drama, "Santa Barbara" and work on "Generations".
He also has commerical and film credits and has been quite active in narration for TBS, Discovery, the History Channel, the Travel Channel and HGTV to name a few.
Tony still points to radio as his true passion however, and has had a 15 year association with Westwood One Radio Networks hosting Classic Rock programs and logging extensive interview time with some absolute greats of Rock & Roll.
John Entwistle, Ian Anderson, David Crosby and Graham Nash, Keith Emerson and Greg Lake, Joey Kramer and Tom Hamilton, Ann and Nancy Wilson, Gregg Allman and Butch Trucks, Robbie Krieger and John Densmore are just a few of many Classic Rock legends who have spent time on the Tony Scott Show.
