A member of the Los Angeles Radio community since 1989, Suzanne Ansilio was heard on the air at KLSX from 1989-1991, Pirate Radio in 91-92, and on 95.5 KLOS from 1992 to 2005.   Suzanne was the mid-day personality for the majority of her 13 years at KLOS. 

With an itch to experience life in New York City, Suzanne drove off from the beaches of Southern California to the east coast with her dog.  Three years later, with a stop in Las Vegas to host a morning show, Suzanne is BACK at KLOS and extremely happy about it. 

Always entertaining and delightful, Suzanne brings energy and enthusiasm to the airwaves.  Listeners love her for her candor, quick wit and ability to connect with and relate to their lifestyles.  Advertisers love her for her commitment and enthusiasm for the products and services she believes in.  The Laser and Dermatology Center, Claremont Toyota, Interactions Dating and Mike Diamond Plumbing are just some of the clients that have had successful advertising campaigns with endorsements from Suzanne.

Suzanne has a wide variety of activities she enjoys;  working out and staying in shape, beach volleyball, golf, skating, swimming and skating, to name a few.  Favorite spectator sports are Hockey, Football, Baseball and Soccer. 

Suzanne is a dog lover and has donated countless hours of her spare time to animals and animal charities. 

Suzanne is single and lives in the South Bay.

 25 THINGS ABOUT SUZANNE ANSILIO

1. I grew up in Kingston, PA.  Nice place if you like boarded up shop windows and an aging population.
2. My family back home is in the Flower business.  My dad is the KING of Cemetery Basket Design.  Thanks to that aging population that always bought flowers to take their deceased loved ones—I drove a 2 year old Camaro when I was 16.    
3. I was a Majorette in High School…used to march with the band and twirl two fire batons simultaneously.   That’s talent right there, baby.
4. My other passion as a teen was diving.  Won the district title in the one-meter springboard a couple of times in HS.  I wasn’t competing in college long before I realized I’d never be Greg Louganis.  That’s when I started to PARTY!  And listen to ROCK music!
5. Worked as a ski instructor on the weekends during college.  My goal at the time was to date the cute Rossignol Rep and get free skis.  It actually worked one winter.  J
6. My radio career traces back to a guy from a Speech class that I had a crush on.  He worked at the campus radio station.  I was his guest one day in the studio and ended up with my own show.  I used HIS albums because he had way more than I did and because that would put me in his dorm room every Tuesday night to pick up and drop off the crate. 
7. I’ve been in more weddings than I care to count.  PLEASE stop me if I EVER agree to wear one of those BAD dresses ever again. 
8. Never married, never even seriously close. 
9. I LOVE dogs.  Mine is 15 and suffers from dementia.  I rescued her at a Mark and Brian Pet Adoption event 14 plus years ago.
10. I don’t love cats.  They are OK, but I’m allergic.  
11. I HATE mustard more than anything.  Don’t like the way it looks or smells and I definitely don’t want it in my refrigerator. 
12. If I had to eat one thing every day it would be a salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, green pepper, fresh basil, salt and olive oil .  
13. I LOVE to shop, but mostly I love to shop at the grocery store.  It’s an Ansilio thing.
14. Bristol Farms is my favorite grocery store, but I don’t buy toilet paper there, mostly meat.
15. For household items, it’s Target, or Vons when I have a Coupon AND it’s on Special.
16. I work out regularly because it makes me feel good and I enjoy physical activity. 
17. You can find me at the local Driving Range a couple times a week.  I am NOT a good golfer, but I like the game.  Double boogie=good hole.
18. I am single.  Getting pretty good at it, too.
19. Love to travel.  Favorite places, for different reasons, so far have been Chamonix , France,  Whistler, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Rome, Berlin , Lisbon, Moorea  and Jamaica.
20. I’ve lived and worked in State College, PA., Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Cleveland, NYC, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. 
21. My favorite band that we don’t play on KLOS is….. Earth Wind and Fire. 
22. My favorite band that KLOS plays is…. a toss-up.  Van Halen or AC/DC.
23. My favorite concert ever?  Greek Theatre.  Jimmy Page and The Black Crowes.
24. My favorite celeb is… Kevin Costner.  He was on the air with Mark and Brian one morning and I walked in the studio and said, “HEY GOOD LOOKIN”!  A few minutes later he walked out the back door, where I was preparing for my show, and struck up a conversation with me.  Do I remember it?  Hell no.  I was too busy drooling on myself.  
25. I LOVE living at the beach.
