1968 - Stevie Wonder released "For Once In My Life."
1974 - George Harrison set out on his first tour in eight years, becoming the first former Beatle to hit the road for a nationwide solo trek.
1979 – The Who’s film Quadrophenia, which featured Sting, opened in theaters.
1979 - Mick and Bianca Jagger were divorced.
1990 - Prince's fourth film, Graffiti Bridge, opened. The movie co-starred Tevin Campbell and Mavis Staples.
